I bought these as extra backup lights for my 2010 Ford F150. They are bright enough that I can see my trailer tongue at night and clip through the rear camera. Installation was pretty easy. They screwed to the underside of my bumper just behind the hitch. Installation took about an hour and a half. I had to run a battery power cable through the engine bay and under the truck to the rear brake light. There I hooked up a relay to the reverse lights so the LEDs would light up when I reversed the truck. As soon as I put it in reverse, the LEDs light up quickly and without delay. I can recommend these lamps. They have so many uses. I'm also thinking about using them as fog lights and night lights for my boat.
