Seems like a good idea but the execution wasn't that great. The mug only holds about 8 ounces, and even though I kept it in the freezer for a full 24 hours, the results were uneven. Some of the slush became liquid almost immediately, some were perfect, and some stayed solid and inaccessible for too long. When I received my device, I washed it thoroughly and even soaked it in dish soap and vinegar for several hours. Unfortunately, the bad smell remains. After a few uses it was really gone. All in all I don't recommend it.
