I wanted to cut and hem a shower curtain to fit in a glass block bathroom window alcove when a little more privacy was needed, but I didn't want the hassle of hemming the curtain myself. I decided to buy one of these tapes. When I saw that this product doesn't even need ironing, I had to try it. I was amazed at how easy it was to use. I cut strips about 6 inches or so (I didn't actually measure) and attached them end to end to the bottom of the shower curtain, which I cut to length. folded the hem and pinched it with his fingers. That's all it took. Not only did it work wonderfully it also holds up so well that the finished edge looks like I ironed it! (I've added photos to show the result.) Clear and tidy. The entire project took less than 20 minutes including the time to measure and cut the curtains. Now I'm going to address a pair of jeans that have always been about an inch longer! Warning: I didn't wash the item and I don't think I would tumble dry a fabric shower curtain (manufacturer doesn't recommend it), so I can't comment on how this product holds up in the wash. including time to measure and trim the curtains.
