Review on Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Sand) by Tiffany Odom

Quality Bag!: Bags and Cases

I bought the F-6 to fit a Nikon DSLR body with an 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm lens. Throw in an AA wall charger and a Nikon lithium battery charger, along with a few other bits and bobs. This bag can do everything and has room for more! I'm finishing the year in Iraq doing topography for the army. A black bag was out of the question because sand and dust destroy black fabrics. This sand house works great. With the F-6's large hatch closed, I don't have to worry about extra sand and debris flying into the compartments. I regularly take the bag outside, remove the four compartments and shake the large canvas bag free of particles. The canvas shoulder strap has two rubber straps that attach the bag to your waist or shoulder. Loose clothing can slip when accessing the main compartments, so be patient. The pockets are large, especially in the front. I suggest using a subsystem for storing batteries, cables, memory cards, etc., because if you don't, it looks like my wife's bag - just a bottomless abyss known to devour anything and everything. Patching space - Clamping system is simple and secure - Made in the USA. This bag was too big for a trip to Adventure Island last year, so I grabbed my soap dish (which I then toasted on the slide). If you plan on walking for a long period of time make sure you don't overload yourself as again this bag has a massive capacity.
