Big size and heavy clothing

I needed a good camera bag to fit all my DSLRs, lenses, flashes and accessories. I'm happy about this 1! It's big enough for everything while being light enough that you don't feel like you're carrying your photography gear + 10lbs! Zippered pockets are great for storing small items. The bag is durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of taking things out and dropping them on grass, mud and other less-than-perfect places.

Love this bag!: Camera bags

I recently bought a Canon XSI with 18-55mm and 5-250mm lenses. My old Crumpler 4MDH bag wasn't big enough for the new load. I wanted a bag that didn't go with the standard camera bag design. I tried the fake 7MDH but it was too big for my liking. I decided to take the plunge and try out the Domke F6 without even seeing it. I wish I could start with this bag because it's awesome. I laid the camera on its side with the 18-55 lens attached and slipped the other lens into one of the four insertion…

Great bag! best bags and cases

I bought this bag just after getting my first DSLR. The bag is ideal for travel and day trips. The bag is waterproof and features a four-compartment insert with ample room for multiple lenses and a camera body with lens attached (facing down). A zippered pocket at the top of the bag holds your small accessories like a remote shutter and memory. Cards. The zippered front pocket offers space for the Gorillapod as well as your personal belongings. There is a slip pocket on the back that I use for…

The perfect bag for hiking.

For me this is the perfect holdall, but it's not without compromises. This bag is quite compact and fits all the DSLR gear I need in a jiffy. I can mount my 5D (a fairly large DSLR) with a medium length lens, 2 additional lenses (with room for 2 more) and all my filters and filter holders. Domke does without padding to gain additional space. Because this bag is made from durable canvas rather than soft nylon, it's a lot more discreet and doesn't scream "I'm a camera bag!" may not be for you…

Quality Bag!: Bags and Cases

I bought the F-6 to fit a Nikon DSLR body with an 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm lens. Throw in an AA wall charger and a Nikon lithium battery charger, along with a few other bits and bobs. This bag can do everything and has room for more! I'm finishing the year in Iraq doing topography for the army. A black bag was out of the question because sand and dust destroy black fabrics. This sand house works great. With the F-6's large hatch closed, I don't have to worry about extra sand and debris…

I'm amazed at what I can fit into this thing.

I love this bag. It really is a bridge between a bag that overvalues your gear and a thrift store army bag that you can buy cheap. It doesn't scream "hey, I'm a photographer," but it works incredibly well and looks good enough to take with you wherever you go. So what's in it? They have a large main compartment equipped with a four-compartment Velcro panel that you can move back and forth wherever you want. Underneath the flap on the lid is a zippered compartment (this is the hardest to access.

  • This is amazing

Plenty of room for a serious photographer

I bought a Canon 2Ti and wanted a bag big enough for the camera body, at least 2 lenses and plenty of room for all the accessories. I wanted something more than just a slim bag, but not a pro-sized backpack that can carry more gear than I have. This bag sits on a shelf in my house and now contains my T2i body, 2 flashes, 50mm lens, 18mm lens. 55, 3rd party strap, 2 speed straps for my strobes, 2 sets of radio triggers and a remote trigger, a shutter cable, all my instructions, an extra set of…

Make up your mind.

Many photographers have conflicting expectations after reading many reviews of the F-6. For the Beginner/Aspiring Pro: One day you'll discover how reliable your gear is and spend less time worrying about filling and more time shooting. If you're just starting out, this bag offers more space than you'll ever need. If you want more padding, until you get a little more experienced with your gear, buy the Lowpro. (Lowpro make great backpacks and over time you will most likely end up buying both)…

Great work bag! for camera and photo

I have two Domke bags and will probably get another one soon (F-2). Both of my bags are sand colored. That's the look I really like. I have one (F-6) as a daily work bag - both at home and on vacation. It's usually equipped with Nikon D7000, Nikon 70-300, Tamron 17-50, Tokina 11-16 and either some fast primes or 35-70. The F-6 is large enough to stow the camera on its side with one of the lenses attached. This is important because I don't want to switch lenses just to put the camera away for a…
