I put it together by myself while watching Netflix, the instructions were easy to follow and clear. I appreciated the extra internal stability added to the tall poles. The bottom half shelf can be installed on either side. The hooks can either hang on the board (freely mobile) or screwed in. Tape provides a great, sticky surface. But, it does not perform as advertised. It is not easily removable and it does indeed remove paint from the painted surface. 6 mm was the perfect length of my tragus piercing, but it was too difficult to get the gem in since there was no extra bar to grab on to. the 8 mm bar is a loose fit and sticks out a bit, but I was actually able to get it on by myself!
