I was looking for a product to use to attach a temporary shelf to the outside of my house to hold an outdoor projector. This thing does not disappoint. I've used double-sided tape in the past, but nothing is at all like this stuff. Two strips along a 12 in x 12 in shelf were able to hold up a 5 lb projector without falling. Tape provides a great, sticky surface. But, it does not perform as advertised. It is not easily removable and it does indeed remove paint from the painted surface. If you are looking for a "paint-safe" product, something that will not damage painted surfaces, this is not the product.

It works well as a double sided tape, but the packaging is not so good. It comes in a little box and the roll is prone to sticking to it after the first use. If you lean it to any surface, it will stick within 5 minutes and be a pain to remove.

This tape sticks, then about two days later, your items are sagging or falling. Items that weigh no more than an ounce or so fail. (Paper items even.) The rub lies here: when you remove and replace the subpar tape, it sticks to everything and is difficult to remove; it's like suddenly being in bizarro world.

I was using this in my office. It's durable and actually reusable!The only downside is the first time I needed to remove a piece, it pulled the paint off of my wall. make sure to leave a bit on the edges sticking out from behind whatever you have on there to pull like a command strip. Do not fully hide in back of whatever is going to be hanging or it won't come off without damage.

Strong product for many items. I used it for holding down my 8×10 rug. Also, for mounting my paper towel holder under the cabinet. Cant wait for the next project.

I like the fact that it's clear and I was about to use this to install my car spoiler and visor.After install I suggest you hold it down for a few seconds but after that it holds good and it looks better than the dark or gray M3 tape.I will be buying another roll just to keep at home

Tried to use this for my power strip under my desk, to tape it to the under side of my desk. Fell off after a few hours. That's my feedback.

It's not going to hold in place your shelf, but it's ok for smaller items. It's also very thick.It's a compromise if you want something that's easy to remove and doesn't need heavy duty!

Had a hard time removing tape roll from box, both sides was stuck, had to rip box apart. Used one inch strips to hang lightweight canvas pictures. Seems to hold pretty good!
