Review on Domke F-6 Little Bit Smaller Bag (Sand) by Monica Alvarez

I love this bag. It really is a bridge between a bag that overvalues your gear and a thrift store army bag that you can buy cheap. It doesn't scream "hey, I'm a photographer," but it works incredibly well and looks good enough to take with you wherever you go. So what's in it? They have a large main compartment equipped with a four-compartment Velcro panel that you can move back and forth wherever you want. Underneath the flap on the lid is a zippered compartment (this is the hardest to access. It's where I keep my spare batteries and extra LCD screen protector). There is another zippered pocket on the front (where I keep movies, extra memory cards, etc.). There is also an open pocket on the back (for quick access to snacks, magazines, notepad, etc.). I used it this past weekend to easily convert a Twin Lens Reflex medium format lens, a handheld caliper, a DSLR, a kit lens, a 50mm lens, a 28mm lens, a telephoto lens and five rolls of 120 film transport. The bag was a little heavy but surprisingly comfortable. Comfort is indeed the main selling point. The shoulder strap has integrated rubber veins so that it fits snugly against clothing. It takes a little getting used to, but when walking or cycling the bag doesn't hang around your shoulders. It just stays in place. And it sits well on the hip. It will flex around you a bit as it is not rigid. And the canvas already feels well worn. It feels like it has been used for years and has barely had time to break in. All in all, this is the best camera bag I've ever had.
