Everything I need in one kit
I need to characterize some power supplies. As you can see in the picture, the power supplies have open connectors. I installed the socket in the black box on the left. I can disconnect both line and neutral with the built in switch (and also disconnect the input power cord for even more security) while connecting the output of my black box to the DUT. And if the unit fails, the outlet's built-in fast-acting fuse will blow before the circuit breaker in the service panel trips. And the light on the switch reminds me it's on, so I remember to turn it off. All this in one package: very practical!
