This is a nice device and easy to set up. But there are a few things that are alarming about this device: - There is a large hole on the front of the lid that cannot be closed. So you'll need something to cover it if you have a fish that might even just jump out. It's convenient for feeding, although I wish it had a resealable lid. - Warning: The pump sucks quite well and is set too high. Unfortunately I didn't notice and my beta got stuck in the pump propeller! Its large and beautiful lower fin was snapped in half. How sad it makes me that his blue fins are lying on the filter cloth. He doesn't feel very well. If I decide to reattach the filter unit, I turn the pump all the way on and somehow cover the intake grilles with foam. The last thing I want to warn you about is that the light is actually a short LED strip. Headlights that should snap into the cover. This means that if the clips break, the flashlight will fall into the water, which is not safe. And that also means it can't be used until you stick it on the lid. The cable for the light doesn't fit in the included cable guides so I had to tape them over. It gets wet so it needs to be checked frequently. I am not satisfied with the situation with the light. The light is too bright so I sealed the center of the light strip with black tape.
