Review on πŸ“· Nikon Z6II FX-Format Black Mirrorless Camera Body by Hideo Masuda ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Switched to this camera from Nikon d750. I thought about buying for a long time, but I was waiting for the release of the six with the ability to charge from an external battery and firmware for the latest Tamron lenses. As a result, we got an excellent kit with glasses 17-35 mm, 24-70 mm, 70-210 mm, optical and matrix stabilization get along well with each other, I did not find any errors or problems, at 24 mm we get sharp shots even at 1/2 seconds. I tested it in frosty St. Petersburg, at a temperature of -10. The battery sat down by 15% in 4 hours and 400 shutter releases with stabilization and tracking autofocus turned on. The camera perfectly captures eyes and faces even in low light, which was a pleasant surprise in street photography. With the smallrig platform, even with warm winter gloves, it is comfortable to work with the camera, the grip is comfortable. I haven’t noticed any significant differences in photo quality compared to the nikon d750 yet, both have traditionally rubber nef files. In January, I will test the camera with severe frosts and shooting the northern lights. If problems are found, I will ate the review.

Pros
  • Excellent matrix stabilization. Very fast and tenacious autofocus. Good autonomy.
Cons
  • Problems with supplies, I waited a long time for a kit with an adapter, as a result I had to buy it separately. Very expensive lenses for the Z system.
