It seems that fly swatters are no longer considered a manufacturer with an acceptable service life. Most are rubbish. These fly swatters appear to be more durable, but only time will tell. Plastic pressed against metal often results in the plastic falling apart at the junction of the two elements. If the plastic falls apart, the metal handles can certainly be used for something else useful if they slip out. Good idea for a fly swatter.
