These screws are awesome. I built a pergola and used 3 1/2" diameter pozidrive screws and because I didn't have a drill long enough to drill a 3 1/2" diameter pilot hole the screws started to slip and work loose immediately they went a few inches. I picked up these structural screws that use a cross. You are flawless. Even at 4 1/2" NO cam issues, NO pilot holes. Incredible. And the wide flat head acts like a washer. As it says on the box they can replace 3/8 bolts + washers. Awesome. The flat black color looks too very clean looking.
