I've used them on both a traditional Schrader valve (typical car and often bike size) and a Presta valve (thin) with a simple Schrader adapter and they work great. Exactly as described. I don't know what a negative comment is about. (If you use a Presta like me, remember to loosen the little ring on the Presta valve that allows you to pump air. Leave it open, then just put the Shrader adapter on top and then put it on the adapter. When then when you want to add air you put on the end of the pump hose and pump air in. No more unscrewing and unscrewing the small ring on the presta (and no more needing to remove valve covers. Makes pressure testing that much easier and therefore much safer riding.
