This diffuser is so cool looking, and it works very well! I did take away one star for 2 reasons:1. The plastic area that holds the water had such a bad chemical smell that I had to wash it with a little hand soap on a damp wash cloth, then let it sit with the top off for 3 days! After that the smell has gone away, and now the only thing I smell when using it is the essential oil.2. It is loud! I bought it with the intention of using it at night while I fall asleep, but it is much louder than my other brand of essential oil diffuser. I ended up switching them, so this one is used during the day and my other one that is almost silent is used at night.To fill it with water you have to lift the glass top off, then open the lid to pour the water in. The directions say to unplug it first, but since the plug is on the bottom, I do not bother with that.Overall I am very happy with it - and am happy that it sort of reminds me of Jupiter. I think it would be great if they made one that looked like Enceladus - then when the steam comes out it would look like the South Polar Plumes!
