The seller of this surge protector has asked for a review. It's too early to comment on the surge protector as it's only been installed for three days. I bought it to use with our new $300 garage door opener. Like a washing machine, the garage door opener is controlled by an expensive ($150) circuit board that can fail during power surges. I liked the Lavamatic surge protector for its 3 second delay. How can I tell if the power supply in our house has suffered a power surge? We have a couple of clocks at home that are very sensitive to power surges and will reset themselves if the power goes out. I would encourage Revain to email me after 5 years for a performance evaluation of this surge protector to see if our surge sensitive garage door opener is still working.
