I have no problem with the sound quality of this mic. In fact, it's very sensitive, so I lower the recording level to avoid picking up background noise. It also appears to be very well constructed. As others I think have mentioned the only thing keeping this product from being a 5 star product is the size. That means it's not monstrous, but more so than the more expensive Lava mics. On its own it looks like a regular Lava mic with a windscreen so it won't draw too much attention. Add a windscreen and it grows to the size of a large grape - something I wouldn't recommend for professional video/broadcast use, but definitely not fun for amateur, semi-pro or PA use. As with most electronic devices, if you want something as small and light as possible, you should be prepared to pay for it. Otherwise, it's probably one of the best values you'll find.
