I bought this because it has been shown on my hair and has made great, long lasting curls. I can't reproduce curls even after watching the tutorial videos even though the product description says it curls. Although the hair is shiny and smooth afterwards. I'm not sure if it hurts my hair or not because I've only used it a couple of times. Like I said, it heats up very quickly.
