I work as an armed guard in a courthouse and deal with prisoners and violent criminals every day. As a result, our radio cables have to be routed under our uniforms and body armor, which is a major headache. We use Baofeng UV-5R radios, so I thought a wireless option would be more convenient and convenient. The wireless headset paired well with my radio, and while I could hear every transmission clearly, the PTT and mic only worked intermittently. If I wanted to answer a call, I had to rely on the radio's PTT function, making it impossible to have a wireless handset and microphone. About a month after I bought it, the earbud fell apart when I took it off at the end of my shift one day. Needless to say, I've reverted to a wired mic and earbuds, and while it's fiddly and awkward to attach, at least it works.
