I needed a long coat for a weekend in nature, in a cold and windy area, much colder than in the city. This coat is perfect for what I need. It is wind and rain resistant, soft and warm. The inside consists of a sherpa-like fluffy layer that runs through the sleeves. This is more suitable for cold weather. The zip opens at the top and bottom and the pockets are a good size and close with a zip. If I had to change something I would add a drawstring for the hood. Still a fantastic long coat for my needs.
