The case itself is quite nice, but the latches are weak and unreliable, especially when carrying heavy loads. It has a pair of pull tabs with holes for a small padlock or carabiner, keeping the lid closed and preventing the contents from falling out if the latches fail. I ended up putting a 4 foot strap around the case to make sure it doesn't come loose while transporting or carrying. I'm sure that sooner or later the latches will break and I'll have to screw in a safer type of latches. If it had stronger clasps I would rate it 4 or 5 stars but 3 is all I can give it due to the weak clasps it comes with.
