Based on my experience, this tool box is an excellent choice for tool storage. The molded interior provides extra protection for my tools, preventing damage and scratches. The case itself is quite nice, but the latches are weak and unreliable, especially when carrying heavy loads. It has a pair of pull tabs with holes for a small padlock or carabiner, keeping the lid closed and preventing the contents from falling out if the latches fail. I ended up putting a 4 foot strap around the case to make sure it doesn't come loose while transporting or carrying.
