I recently had an unsuccessful lash lift. The technology I see is usually awesome so I'm not sure what went wrong. I was too embarrassed that I had upset her to say anything about it and decided I would just try to fix it myself. I purchased this kit and used a spoolie brush with a sachet of solution #1 to comb my lashes in a downward motion to soften the intensity of the sweep. I let the solution sit for two minutes on each side and then washed it off. I didn't mess around with setting lotion #2, it worked really well, but I wasn't as careful as I should have been with the other eye and some of the solution ended up on my skin just above the lash line. which led to burns. I've gently rinsed the affected area with cold water, dabbed it with hydrocortisone and will smear petroleum jelly on the area until the wound heals. [Update] It took a few days for the pain to completely go away, but the chemical burn completely went away leaving no scars. I recommend keeping petroleum jelly on hand in case you accidentally get it on your skin. This is great for relieving pain and also keeps the wound secure.
