Review on 🎧 Black Koss iL100K In-Ear Headphone by Richard Woods

History: I switched from Koss The Plug because my cat decided she liked these headphones as much as I did. (But instead of using them for music, she chewed the cord furiously until it frayed into pieces, little munchkin.) Between her untimely death and purchasing these headphones, I tried two others: a pair of fancy headphones (Forte Clarity Bass Hi Res wooden earbuds) and they sounded awful - harsh and lacking in depth. I then tried some inexpensive headphones with good reviews (JVC HAFX8B) and the sound was adequate. Not painful, but nothing that would make me close my eyes and immerse myself in the music. They also seemed fragile and light. After those disappointments I finally settled on these and reminded myself how good headphones can be. Sound: rich, detailed and full. They have good, punchy bass, but it's not clipped. I listen to a lot of folk music, indie rock, pop music, etc. and I feel like I can hear every detail in the music and everything is very clear. Construction: There's a lot of metal in the earbuds themselves, so they're a satisfying weight that works well with the rubber inserts and feels really good when you put them on. The standard earbuds generally fit me well, but they come in two additional sizes for those with custom ear piercings. . The cable is flexible and doesn't let too much sound through (unlike the Forte Clarity and other woven cables) so I can listen to my music while I workout instead of hearing a thud with every step. The lock feature is well implemented, but I almost never use it. A little extra, I know that Koss has a fantastic lifetime return policy so I thought about buying more expensive headphones knowing that if something happened to them or I was unhappy I could return them. But to be honest, I don't know what more I could ask for in a pair of headphones. That's great. In the future, I will most likely never buy anything other than Koss headphones again. Their prices are very reasonable and the sound quality of their headphones is truly the best I've had.
