MOST shampoos and conditioners on the market today contain chemicals derived from coconut protein, to which many people with coconut allergies are sensitive. and it doesn't contain any of those chemicals. This is literally the only conditioner we've found that allows her to groom without covering her whole body in eczema. she is a teenager The banana smell is strong when sniffed in a bottle, but it doesn't leave a strong banana smell on your hair (maybe a little if you poke your nose right into your hairline, lol). It's not cheap like other popular conditioners and it doesn't lather/lather like traditional conditioners, but it works very well and leaves hair soft and manageable. Although her hair is straight, it tends to get tangled, so she likes to use a good conditioner to keep her hair healthy and easy to comb. I would highly recommend it to anyone allergic to coconut and frankly everyone!
