I liked my other Merrill shoes, but these things are like skates on wet ground. Plaster/cement/brick looks good, but wet tile will break your neck. I fell on my butt almost 4 times today and I'm not what you would call "clumsy" in balance (growing up in Northern Michigan in frigid conditions). Sorry Merrill, but back to the drawing board for you guys. They were at least a size too big for me - my other Merrills run a size larger than usual (I'm usually a size 9.5 but my other Merrills fit a 10 better). They're back at 9.5 - and frankly, they're still way too free. I keep them because I like the looks and the comfort (not bad, but not great), but they are a big problem when you get stuck in the rain and on tiles (shops, restaurants, kitchen, etc.). If there is oil/soap on the floor, forget it - you go downstairs.
