This particular monitor stand's instructions and assembly are nice and easy, and the occasional instructions are more than enough to bring things together. The adjustable tension is nice and fairly easy to adjust, but can be improved without the need for an allen wrench. The quick-release VESA mount makes it easy to attach mounting hardware to the monitor, so you can then insert (and snap) the mounting arm. The mount allows you to rotate the monitor 90 degrees (in either direction, a full 180 degrees). movement) to reorient the monitor. Also of note is that the monitor mount attaches to the laptop tray so I can remove the tray to use the same dual monitor setup if I change something in the future. The top clamp adjustment is great, but like all rear clamp options, it leaves a lot to be desired. The great thing about this setup is that it also comes with an adjustment to allow for a deeper shelf/desk and I only used these parts to mount through a hole I cut in for exactly that purpose drilled my desk. I didn't need to buy any other items for this (but I already had a drill and a drill bit). This may not be the best solution for some, but the result is a monitor stand that fits snugly to the table.
