Be sure to buy this unit. Other reviews have recommended a variable switch. I have one and am taking it out now. This device is so quiet we forget to turn it off. We don't hear how it works. We only hear a slight flow of air, which is not very noticeable. We see no need to run the variable in a smaller thread. We run it completely and it works very well. Mirrors no longer fog up. I'm going to make it a regular switch so we know to turn it off along with the light when we leave the room. I use it as a bathroom extractor. Temporary ventilation through a flexible metal pipe prevented water from condensing. I immediately switched to insulated flexible tubing and all is well now.
