I've bought about 12 of these over the last few years because they're a great size, good cushioning and decent wheels. The processing quality is not designed for longevity. We have had 3 chairs in the last 6 months that broke due to the plastic base, about 1/3 of these chairs had to be fixed on the armrest which raises and lowers them. We were within the weight limit, both users were around 220lbs when the chair broke. The tongues holding the hand up and down will bend and eventually break, making it impossible to move up and down. These $80 stools don't last as long as the $50 stools I bought 15 years ago. I hope that the manufacturer of these stools will start using better materials or technology to make a better product. I really like the rest of its features but the durability makes me look for another brand to start buying. We were lucky enough to get 1.5 years of this and recently our base refused chairs less than 6 months old. They are used 4-5 days a week for 8 hours a day. Now I have a ton of parts to fix and rebuild these stools, they just don't build like they used to.
