Works well. I don't think I'm drunk enough to notice a big difference. Does this make the wine appear lighter? Less bitter than without, but not much of a difference. I think a winking owl can only be raised so high. It's good! It's really easy to use. It came in a very nice box and velvet carry case (so elegant!), It sits really well in the stand and is really easy to clean. Definitely needs to be cleaned after every use (the bottle you drink, not after every glass) if the wine stays on it for too long it's difficult to clean it completely but if you rinse it after use it is in order.
