I like that it allows us to see all software assets in one place so we can easily track our spendings across different departments within our organisation. It also has good reporting features which is easy to use by non IT people too - this helps with transparency throughout the business when using SPM. Not much as such but would recommend RSM tool if you are looking at having single repository where everything goes together (eg Licenses, Projects etc). We have been able to create an efficient system allowing accurate cost analysis and forecasting.
