Fun System. I'm an average techy person and was able to hook up the hub, light show box and lights without too much difficulty. You need to follow the instructions carefully and moving from the hub back to your home internet is the hardest part. I hooked up everything in the house to try out the lights before Christmas. The strings of lights synced well with the preset music and were a joy to watch. If you want to use Gemmy lights and installed music, this is a great way to start your own Christmas light show. However, I bought this system because I wanted to use my own holiday playlist and while I was able to play music through the light show box with ease, the Gemmy lights didn't sync either. I also noticed that non-Gemmy lights, including the LED Light Show Constant Motion lights, were not syncing with preset music or music from my playlist. In summary, setup isn't difficult as some reviewers would have you believe. It's fun and nice to use Gemmy components, but less effective when trying to substitute your own music or lights. I ended up sending it back because it didn't meet my expectations.
