Purchased in case you need additional connectors in addition to those supplied with the main product. Once installed I don't even notice the connectors other than the 90 degree angles, I used them instead of the ones that came with the rail. The ones that come with the kit only have one screw hole. The way I have to install them I can't install the connector myself. Because they have two holes, I can place the connector on the raceway and screw it in without much effort. . One thing I would ask for would be 90 degree angles without the part that curves around the side that needs to be facing me. With the LEDs I used it was not possible to insert them, I had to cut this part myself. Product again if I ever did a similar project.
