Review on Laowa 9mm f/2.8 Zero-D SLR Ultra-Wide Lens - Ultimate Wide-Angle Photography with Sony E Mount by Tyler Owens

FIRST REVIEW: I bought this lens based on some very good reviews but I suspect sample performance varies widely. The build quality of the lens is excellent. A wide open lens is fine near the center and gradually degrades towards the edges. It's terrible in the corners/edges. It gets better up to F8 but the sharpness is really really bad compared to every Fuji lens I own. UPDATE: I ordered an interchangeable lens and it's definitely better than the first one. I've raised my original two star rating to four with the caveat that you need to look closely at the lens sharpness to ensure you don't get any "losers" like I did on the first copy.
