HiBoost and WeBoost

Okay, I used HiBoost and WeBoost. I installed WeBoost at my house and at my parents' house. I also have WeBoost for my truck. We had to buy a cell phone booster for my job. We're in a metal building and the cell service sucks. Thought to try HiBoost. The setup is pretty much the same. They have a base unit, an outdoor antenna and an indoor antenna. The external antenna and the internal antenna look the same as on WeBoost devices. Big difference in base units. WeBoost has a simple block of LEDs that indicate if everything is working well. The HiBoost device has a display. The display shows signal levels so you can tune the outdoor antenna to the cell tower. It also gives you different tiers of cell types so you can connect to a wright tower that has your cell service. HiBoost also has a cellphone app, Bluetooth, and a connected Wi-Fi network that tells you signal levels and can alert you if there's a problem. This can be really helpful if you don't have anyone to help you set up your device. WeBoost and HiBoost do the job of boosting your cellular signal. I have to say I would get the HiBoost block again compared to the WeBoost blocks. I like the fact that the unit has variable cellular signal strengths on the base unit and has an app to monitor and help set up the outside antenna.

Pros
  • EASY TOOL-FREE INSTALLATION: The HiBoost app and LCD display will help you fine-tune the best output and see how strong the signal is. No drilling is required as the window wire can be fed through the bottom of the window to connect an outside antenna and cell signal booster.
Cons
  • Obsolete model
