Advantages: - Heavy base that is quite capable of supporting the microphone on a fully extended arm - Robust hinge. I have never experienced weight fluctuations with my AT2035 microphone. Convenient locks. Locking mechanisms are easy to tighten and loosen - height. The height is enough to put the stand on the table - Feels like it will last a long time with good care of course - Cleanliness. It looks smooth. I like the twist lock, it looks minimalistic. Supplied with microphone holder and screw adapter. Cons: U clamp Fragile. The smaller clamp on the upper axle broke without much effort. I received the item and tried to remove the clip using steady pressure to avoid damaging it. It broke in half. I contacted customer service and told them the part was defective and if they could send me a replacement. They sent me a new replacement stand. On this clip also broke - the first time. Maybe it's me and I don't know how to make videos. But I think so, since I had no problems with the large clip. I resorted to using a velcro strap as seen in the photo. It's not a deal breaker for me as I could get a pack of these, but it's a little disappointing.
