In my opinion this is a redesign that is much better than the alternative. and don't attach multiple brackets to wooden studs. The unit comes with multiple screw sizes to accommodate accommodate a variety of TV mounts, including some very large snap-on screws.Our TV (35lbs) plus mount weighs around 55lbs. The eight anchor bolts provided are used to attach it to the wall. Even at 120lbs, each bolt only needs to support 15lbs, so the thing is clearly overloaded The video (on the Revain website) is helpful but the written instructions are useless Company Anyone who can speak English and write additional text instructions The video doesn't tell you HOW to set the built-in spirit level, and it also doesn't tell you how to make sure both mounts are at the same height above sea level be above the ground (critical). An arrow is stamped on the strut to indicate the upward direction. This is shown in the installation diagram but can easily be overlooked. I took a large piece of cardboard and taped it to the bracket to figure out how high or low the TV should be mounted. This is perhaps the most difficult part of the installation. I'm 6ft tall and I recommend putting the top screw on the tip of your nose, but everyone has different preferences for TV height. This should be fairly close to the optimal height so that you are neither looking at the ceiling nor looking down at the floor. But the mount works and easily holds our 55 inch Samsung TV. Fortunately, the mounting holes on the TV line up with several mounting holes on the bracket's fasteners. Another helper holds the bracket while at least two screws are screwed into the wall.
