    Perfect for our Kia Soul

Perfect for our Kia Soul. The only thing I would wish is that the metal hooks that attach to the car have some kind of protective coating. I put a cloth between them and the paint to avoid scratching.

Great trunk if you have simple and light bikes.

This luggage rack fits the back of my Suzuki SX4 hatchback. My bike, an old road bike with three gears, fits great and is easy to get on and off. The rack stays strong and secure when I'm riding my bike alone. My daughter's bike is a bit more complex - we call it a cast iron cruiser - it's heavy and the top bar only drops off the chain by a few inches. . I found a way to rack mount it but it's really cumbersome and the rack struggles to stay secure under the weight and can move around corners…

Broken 3 times due to known defects

I should have looked at more reviews and realized that others have the same problem Bought in 2017 to use with 1 children's bike. The company provided a replacement (significant damage to the car and bike but there was nothing I could do about it). The second breakdown was in January 2019, the rivet broke again. I asked if there were any design issues and they emailed me "no security issues" and I received a second replacement. The third failure was in August 2019, this time one of the…

I recommend but I know the shortcomings

This bike rack has its pros and cons. It's very easy to set up and get started. It adds up to almost zero. It's very easy for my little daughter to use it alone without dad's help. It's not the most durable stand, however. You are definitely not buying a Thule. Bike racks are not clamps, you must thread and loosen the loops to secure and then remove the bike. I'd say it's great for short, normal-speed trips around town. Here's hoping the bike makes it safely from New York to Maine at freeway…

DO NOT DO THAT! works well in trunks and racks

I purchased this bike rack and when I unpacked it I thought it was just what I needed to transport two bikes from Northern California to Washington. I read the reviews for the metal clips and prepared white tape to cover them and protect the paint on my white car. The first leg of the journey only took 1 hour before we started the journey in earnest the next morning. I did notice a slight wobble when driving but the wind was strong and as this is my first time installing it on a car I figured I

Compact, stable, not light; enables flexible planning

My fiancé has a small limousine. A few years ago she paid $200 to have a small hitch welded to her car and another $100 to get a bike rack for our bikes. We took it on a trip and it wobbles so badly you would expect it to fall off immediately despite secure connections. To top it off, this rack folds down to "just" 1 x 3 x 3 feet (not exactly compact for storage) and takes about ten minutes to fully install or remove with each use. In contrast, I just bought this bike rack for less than $50. It

This car carrier needs to be described properly. It's terrible junk. I didn't even get a bike on it before I gave it up and returned it because it's absolutely not compatible with my car, even though my car is clearly listed on the box's compatibility chart. I spent 2 weeks researching trunks and somehow came up with the worst possible option. The bottom tether needs to be hooked to something under the car so you have enough room to really tighten it. It cannot be attached to the bottom edge of

    Fantastic mount.: Accessories

I've waited over 2 months to write this review because I wanted to get a good idea of this mount. Many people have posted reviews here that made me doubt my purchase, but . I'm beginning to feel that American consumers are more snobbish and picky compared to buyers from other countries. Anyway, I digress. I pinched my cheeks as I rode every bump on my bike on this mount for the first few weeks. Handled everything with ease. Reliable in all weather and doesn't move at all. Your bike may bounce a

    off-road driving? Buy it.

When I was looking for a bicycle stand, I started pondering. I needed something that would fit in a hatchback (Mazda 3), something that could handle speeds of up to 80mph over a very long distance (Pennsylvania to Texas over 1000 miles), and most importantly, something available. My friends, I'm happy to report that I found 1 solution to all 3 problems! It also covered an issue I wasn't aware of until arrival: it's compact. It even fits in the included small drawstring backpack! I'll tell you…

    Great Bike Mount: Bike Rack

Proper Fit: It's been over 17 years since I've been cycling and I wanted to get in shape and lose some weight so I decided to take up cycling and walking. I had to transport my bike on bridleways and needed a bike rack so after reading all the reviews on Revain and on the Walmart website I decided to buy this. One reviewer said you should go to the manufacturer's website to make sure the fit is correct and I suggest you do the same. Revain was right about the fit check, but confirm it anyway by
