Review on ⚙️ SA177 Brother Side Cutter Foot - Silver by Karla Richter

I received this on the exact same day my new Brother machine arrived. I took the advice of other reviewers and read the instructions in my machine's instruction manual (didn't even read the instructions that came with the sewing foot). Very easy! If you've ever set foot on your car, you'll have no trouble understanding this. I also watched a short video on YouTube. I then tried one layer that was already cut and another that I wanted to attach it to but hadn't cut yet. Went like clockwork! It cuts perfectly through a layer (cotton flannel) with no effort and the overlock stitching hooked the edge perfectly! I'm going to try on cotton jersey this weekend. My recommendation for those struggling was to starch the edge of the jersey (same as if you were sewing it). I don't expect any problems after pre-strengthening. A great little tool, especially for people who still have an overlock on their wish list!
