Probably the best solution for powering a GPU that needs an 8 pin PCIE connector. Keep in mind that the 6-pin connector only works for 75W, while the 8-pin connector only works for 150W. .Since you still only have 3 ground wires you need to be careful not to exceed the 75 max rating too far. Example: If your GPU is in the first PCIE slot, it will get 75W from that slot. .If it has an optional 8-pin connector with a 6-pin to 8-pin adapter, it shouldn't run much more than 150W (compared to a really good PSU).
