I have ASD and a terrible nail biting habit. I had several thinner silicone gummies from another company but I chewed them up within a week. I've been wearing them for 2 weeks now and have never damaged them. Teeth marks will dent the silicone slightly but are barely noticeable. My personal opinion is that the spiral is the better of the two forms. It fits my mouth more easily and doesn't cause as much pain in my jaw even after hard, restless chewing. Unfortunately, it also collects saliva, which can be quite uncomfortable depending on how you chew. Overall, however, I feel that both forms of this product are just what I need. I would recommend them to anyone trying to break the nail biting habit or feeling the need for stimulation through chewing - regardless of age.
