I don't think some people's experiences have been as good as mine. I have had this chair for 4 years now. It was easy to build and held up well throughout its lifetime. After 4 years of intensive use, it works perfectly. Problems that just started: - The rubber holding the lining is loosening at the bottom, now it's easy to fix every few months. If I had a tool I might be able to lock it back and not worry, but I don't mind. I sit in a chair all the time, and now, years later, I understand that the armrest just hurts after sitting in the chair. chair for hours. Sometimes I put a pillow on it when I know I'm going to use it for a while. The cylinder that lifts the chair only now starts to have problems as it slowly descends to a lower height from time to time. Maybe after a few hours it's in the lowest position and you need to adjust it. It's been 4 years now, I never thought it would last forever so I still think the chair gets 5 stars from me. It was affordable and did what it needed to do throughout its lifetime. I will probably continue to use it for the next year or until I get tired of having a bowel movement. Still looks like new so this stuff will last a long time if you take good care of your belongings.
