I love these cotton swabs because they are very well made and you don't see the cotton falling apart when you use them. However, I don't use them because the name says "for the ears" but because of studies that state that using tampons to clean the ears is not advisable as it does more harm than good. So it's up to you. If you are looking for good cotton swabs, these are good at a reasonable price, use them for their intended purpose.
