I bought these for my large foot of a 10 year old. He usually wears a size 7.5. I bought 8 for some room to grow. They fit me well and also with room to manoeuvre. I am a female 9-9.5. I say that because they are of such high quality that I questioned that myself too. We bought them to hike in the woods and then raft down the river.
