Not so bright, look elsewhere.
This light really isn't too bright and doesn't stand out too much even with the ribbed lens. You hardly see it lit during the day, the early 90's 3rd gen LED brake lights are brighter than this thing. I am only using this for the 3rd brake light on a minivan that I am restoring and remodeling. I connected it directly to a special brake light wire, so it only lights up when braking. No other "special" unnecessary features.
