I wear these instead of slippers. I wear them at home every day. I can run short errands to the mailbox or pharmacy in them and they offer more protection than slippers even though they don't have arch support. Add some Dr. Scholl and they work if you wear them with round socks but if you want to wear them barefoot order one size down. The upper tends to wear down after around 8 months of wear but given the price the mileage is good enough for the money. I'm on the third pair.
