Bought for my new Ryzen system hoping I could upgrade the memory to 3000MHz. Right now with 1800x and Asus Crosshair vi Hero the highest memory I can clock is 2666MHz. It should also be noted that I bought 2 packs of 16GB x 2 to get 64GB of RAM. Hopefully a future BIOS update will allow 3000MHz. Also, the Corsair Lighting software doesn't recognize the sticks, so they freeze when turning on and off. I think the moral of the story is make sure your components are compatible with it. R.A.M. Check your motherboard page for RAM support so you don't have to wait for BIOS updates. Update 5/28/2017: The Corsair Link software update gets the lights working again and there was an update for my motherboard that allowed me to sync the clock. My ram runs at 3000MHz.
