Review on SAMSUNG Galaxy Watch (46Mm by Amit Kumar ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product is okay, it's not a waste of money!

I bought this watch for myself in May 2022 (more than 1 year ago), and for my wife an Apple watch (large), so there is something to compare. Review in terms of autonomy and the importance of this parameter. Autonomy - Samsung simply outplays Apple in this regard. The wife constantly takes off this watch, because. they sit down quickly. Whatever you say, but over time it gets boring to constantly charge the watch every day and you start wearing it less often. Although smart watches are really useful now. My experience - at first I always wore it with the display on - lasts for about 1.5 days, that is. You still need to charge it every day. After a couple of months, I got tired and turned off the display - now I wear 3-4 days without charging. I wrote about the economy mode above - if, like me, you use only 4 functions in a smartwatch: messenger tracking, do not miss calls, a pedometer and payment from the watch, then you can immediately turn on the energy-saving mode and walk with the watch for about a week without recharging. We went to the village - my wife's watch ran out, there was no time to charge, just consider a bracelet on her hand. We decided to spontaneously go somewhere - we didn’t have time to charge the Apple and that’s it, again either a bracelet or you don’t take them at all. It just seems that it is easy to put it on charge at night - in fact, I personally constantly have such situations that I am with working hours, but my wife is not. The olweiss function is a display - not needed in 95% of cases. Firstly, it is dimmer than the activated clock (in both Apple and Samsung). Those. in passive mode, the picture is NOT bright, dull, boring. Secondly, it drains the battery 2-3 times faster and from afar you can still see that this is a smart watch. The only time this function came in handy for me was when you were driving in a car (and we remember that the auto-backlight in Samsung phones does not work 100% right away) and when seconds are needed, for example, when you fry meat on a grill and note the time. However, now I'm coming to the conclusion - it's better to buy a Garmin in general, in which you can definitely walk for 7 days without charging. Think they might be worth checking out. All other functions of smartwatches are really almost not used.

Pros
  • Compared to Apple Watch: - good autonomy - well determine the activity on their own - comfortable bezel and ergonomics - many free custom watch faces - as many as 2 saving modes - first with 15%, then with 5% you can turn off everything at all, except for time. In fact, you can walk on the remaining 15% for another + 2 days. Very cool.
Cons
  • Compared to Apple Watch: - the strap is hard to buy in the store, you have to order online, the choice is small - the strap is removed harder than on an apple - the screen is activated worse than on an apple
