As much as I love this set of back scratchers I have to admit I find the prongs a bit sharp for some people. If you have good control over how much pressure you use, you'll be fine with it. They're not scissor sharp by any means, but if you get mad and aren't careful you can scratch your skin too badly. The ends just aren't as rounded as they should be. Although some may prefer them more boring. Of course, there are times when I prefer when I get a pretty uncomfortable itch. It is equipped with extra sharp fingers or claws. It sure is, but they're a little sharper than many other back scratchers. Besides, this is a great set. The handle feels comfortable and offers a good grip. I like the extension, easy to manage. Pull it out to the length you want. If desired, it can be made a little longer. They stay in place while they scratch. The handwork looks good and is fun. It's just that some teeth aren't round enough. This is a set for those who prefer deeper scratches.
