I was very excited about this when I started my bullet journal and needed an abundance of flowers! Although there are 24 physical marks, there are only about 20 different colors. Unfortunately, once received and used, the color of the ink will be the same, although the colors displayed on the outside of the pens will be different. There are about 3-4 pairs of same color pens, so it is not a set of 24 but a set of 15-20 depending on how many pairs of the same color you get. UPDATE!: When I tested the pens, I didn't paint with them, just compared the strokes of the lines. Actually there are 24 different colors. I wanted to add the original stars (3) but after using them in the adult coloring book I used 4 different shades of blue for the ocean outline and 1 pink, 1 yellow and 2 orange for the sunrise. 2 blues started to dry up on my front page I had to set them aside and paint that area later when the ink was "reloaded". I had to do this over and over again or I would have seen colored lines. The same happened with 1 orange pen and 1 pink one as well. Next time I would pay more money for better quality pens that can color the entire page before it dries.
